It’s on my doorstep, call me controversial but I think it’s a good thing, MB is a no go at a weekend due to traffic, trying to get through there on a bike is difficult, trying to get a car through is nigh on impossible, what the traders lose from bikers (who only spend on food & coffee) will be more than made up for by car owners with huge boots in their cars filled with goods from the shops, a large number of gift shops have closed in the last couple of years for this very reason.

Interesting take on it. I hadn’t really thought of it like that…

More pictures showing now! Good work. Some tasty stuff on show, that Alfa was nice. Loving the Benelli Sei…always liked those!

I have never had a proper look around Bristol either, despite my daughter attending Bath Spa University very close by. My neighbours lad did a music and arts degree in the city and reckons the live music scene there is vibrant

I am a big fan of Alfa spiders too, but I will stick with my old and leaky Lotus for now.

I did get out on my MV today too, but it was chilly and showery out which restricted my fun a bit!

Cheers for taking time out to post up the review and the pictures!

Couldn’t make the meet tonight, but I bet there was cracking weather for it!

Hope to make a least a couple of these over the summer

I turn up at 6pm straight from work (don’t believe the 7pm advertised time) then tootle off at about half an hour before sunset (so 8pm now, then a bit later each week). You get to see some good ironwork….    8)

Last night I didn’t even get out of work until pushing 6. By the time I had driven home it was gone 7, so it would of been gone 8pm before i got there. I saw some of Ollies pics on FB. Looked a cracker

That’s why I come straight from work – I couldn’t get home to the Forest then back out again…. 8)

I hope to start using the 550 and 600 for work soon, so I will come straight from work too. looking forward to it. I missed the lot last year!

Well some days go to plan and others just don’t….I set off for the show on the 550 in bright sunshine and reasonable temps. Pleasant ride down into Gloucestershire but the fuel gauge is low. So about 3 miles from the show I pull in to fill up the bike, save the hassle later. I have a missed called from Thumper’s Mrs. Oh I have a bad feeling about this…so I call back. Poor old Geeg has dropped his Thundercat on the way down in convoy with Thumper and Toggs. He is OK but the T’cat is battered and not rideable. So they won’t be joining us. Just so long as Geeg is OK, that is main thing. I knock off the last few miles to the show and pull into the bike park. The small piece of hard standing and the first field are both packed. The ground is really boggy but I gingerly make my way to the 2nd field. Now this is doing a passable impression of the Somme battlefield in WW1 and I wound up getting bogged down and needed two blokes help get the bike clear. There is no way I could safely ride across this and many people were just leaving. I extricated myself from the quagmire and tried to find a bit of decent ground along the lane to park in but they were already taken by folks having the same idea. Quite a few people just turned around and went home. I headed back out and found somewhere to pull over and phone the Big E. I was a bit hacked off by now and decided to head home too. By all accounts Big E met up with jed and Olly Ok and there were some cracking bikes on show and running the hill.

Brilliant pictures and I am glad that somebodies day panned out well. Just means I have to make sure I get to it 2017!

Looks like we have Thumper, Toggs and one or too others joining me for the ride there. Should be meeting up with Elissimo and Katana in there. Hope the weather holds

And Olly and Jed – we’ll need to take over a bar…..    8)

Well I am now meeting Thumper, Toogs and Geeg there. So we should have 6 folks in all…good stuff. Looking forward to a grand day out!

Very cool, now let’s see him try to buy an oil filter for it…

It will be interested to see how the MV situation pans out, I have 3,000 mile until an oil change is due. I have done 200 miles in 6 months, so roughly 7 years at the current rate!
