But can you compare Yamaha with MV?
The GS1200 beats the Explorer in every review I’ve ever read, but I still prefer the big Triumph. Logic loses out to bias every time!On paper the two bikes seem to have a lot in common, in reality they don’t oddly…the MV just feels more exclusive and is even more bonkers to ride. This doesn’t stop the Yamaha being a superb bike. Logically I should run a MT-10 or perhaps a MT-09 Tracer

Strangely, I think those DR650s are used on that Ecuador route that I keep harping on about. Though not with such a fancy paint job…
God knows how I am going to get enough brownie points to pull off Ecuador! It was a cracking night, such a diverse range of bikes
