I’m sorry to hear about the hassle mate! If you lived near me I would let you put it in my garage! I’m pretty much like the others, have an oxford ground anchor, oxford chain added extra chain, disk lock, battery operated senor alarm, little door sensor (99p from 99p store! for 3) and two flap over latches with padlocks. My area is pretty good and my neighbours are great so when I’m not about, they watch my place like a hawk! I think it’s a sh*t country we live in at times, when you spend your hard earned cash on the greatest pleasure in the world and then have to spend the rest of the night awake worrying about whether or not it will be there in the morning! Before I built my garage, my ex had his cover nicked off his bike and someone tried to get the disk lock off, they didn’t succeed, but we still had to replace the chuffin disk! What a pain, some people have no value of life, love and care for other folk or their property!
Come and live with me I’ve got a spare room and a space in the garage!!! lol XXXXX

I’m a big newby myself Reg, so don’t worry bout it, I’m sure I will be dropping myself in the “daft question” pit at some point! In fact it may be very soon, watch this space, I am building up the courage to ask some (what I think) daft questions about my bike!!! lol x Good luck for Saturday, shall keep me fingers and toes crossed, if not all the best for the future, you shouldn’t have any problems at all! xx

Thanks guys for all your help in getting me back up and running! I have finally found a relatively decent insurer, I’m still £50 squid worse off than last year, which is strange but there you go! I was wiv carol nash last year and they wanted and extra 100 sovs this year so tis pants! I am now with Motorcycle direct who were really competative out of the 20/30 insurance companies I have called, so if anyone wants to try them, their number is 0870 755 8250, quoting number 1837! It’s a blast for my first bike, it’s got a lotta poke for a 650 and can keep up with most big bikes, it handles like a dream, but being my first it took a bit of getting used to coz it’s all throttle an engine breakin, but I’m lovin every minute!!!!
