Thanks for the vote of confidence Lex, surely you have fell off sometime??
Anybody out there not crashed yet!!??
Donate – it makes you feel good!RadarModeratorThe poor thing was really ill. Virus riddled and the Norton kit I put on to stop brought the thing to its knees.
Word association has gone mad in my absence!! Some good stuff elsewhere though.
What a sh*t summer though for biking. Just TOO wet!!
Donate – it makes you feel good!RadarModeratorI have always enjoyed riding Guzzi’s too. Nearly bought a 650 Lario recently.
Rode a LeMans, a Cali and old V50. All lovely and very different to Jap stuff.I started biking on a C50 too. No MOT/Tax/insurance or licence thrashing two up around the roads where I lived then. Great fun.

It is also next to a small bike shop run by the same family.
Decent Cafe just in Wales at a place called Crossgates.
Craven Arms in Shropshire has a couple of decent biker friendly cafes too.My oldest Daughter is a Vege, but still eats fish “because they are ugly”. Her mother had better sleep with an eye open!!
Donate – it makes you feel good!RadarModeratorI have owned three Superdreams, two as hacks and one for spares. If there was a biking Pictionary, a picture of a Superdream would be next to the word dull!
Having said that I sold my last one (HAE 514X)to somebody who was going to restore it!!
Classic Motorcycle mechanics regularly feature the things.
Had my first crash on one too!

RadarModeratorI have done the ride all year bit (was even a courier briefly), but I wouldn’t now to be honest. No excuses, just don’t fancy it.
Having said that I would like to ride to work regularly especially as my 33 mile route has some decent twiddly bits!!

RadarModeratorGreat pictures.

RadarModeratorBirthday
Heaven – I was in a meeting!!Doh!!!
RadarModeratorI am in Spain with a few customers in a hire car!!
I have not been able to ride to work since about 1994 on a regular basis. Just a couple of times a year sadly.
In my view the ride to work is a great opportunity to really get to know your bike well. My riding these days is largely restricted to weekend thrashes on the Cat (Great Roads – a couple of stories in there “Try these” being typical), and short evening rides on the CB when I’m not knackered!
Work frowns on me bringing the bike in, nothing to do with biking or bikers, just the practicalities of the job sadly.
However i support the ethic behind the Ride to Work day and hence the post!!
RadarModeratorHad both a LC and a couple of YPVS models (and 1 aircooled).
RD250LC – Great fun.
RD350YPVS Mk1.- Best fun I have had on a bike.
RD350YPVS f2 – Not the same somehow. Take a look in the section about our bikes – I wrote up about them a bit more there if you want. “My main bikes since 17” (I think). - AuthorPosts
