I’m pleased that you have found the bike which was your 1st love, youv’e always promised yourself that you would get one, well done and enjoy!
Hi Scouser,
That is the plan. I joined the LC Club the other week. I have the fond idea of trying to get my original bikes reg back too. The lad I sold it to tuned the nuts of it (it was reputed to be the quickest YPVS locally), but wrote it off in 1988. A typical end for many YPVS then. I think that means the reg is available to get back.

The dog of course. He’ll shut up once you let him in.
Why do men die before their wives?
Because they want to.
Why do men fart more than women?
Because women cant shut up long enough to build up the required pressure.
Hows that Radar? Feel better? We even?[]

If you can help find parts for this bike we would be eternally gratefull to you. 4 days serching internet to no avail. PLEASE HELP US.PLEASE PLEASE
What year is the bike, do you have any model codes?
Also get the unit off the bike and check it for reference or part numbers. You might well find the part is common with other Similar Suzukis. For example do any other bikes in the range use an essentially similar engine/electrical system??Try also http://www.suzuki-club.co.uk
This is the owners club website, so they might be able to direct you.
DK Motorcycles (not sure of the contact details), also import loads of bikes from Japan and might be worth a ring.
Good luck with your search.
Welcome to the site and pass on the details to other bikers you know!

Thanks GSX, I have just agreed to buy a 1986 RD350YPVS. It isn’t standard, I will need some bits, especially standard colours (no matt black -sorry!!).
Don’t send me a PM as I can’t pick them up for some reason, try sending me a e mail instead.

Love a Thunderace, my brother in law has one (a 2000) and worships the thing. Used to keep it in the lounge!!
Ride the baby brother Thundercat myself. Another much underated bike.
