Can you tell me what price it was, my hubby’s birthday soon and I’d like to get him something like that.
Marsha67ParticipantCan’t get worked up over bikes like that. Even in their day they were a bit boring. Need to be a bit more special to be a modern day classic.
Marsha67ParticipantThanks for the quick reply. Are fork sizes usually the same across manufacturers or could I be a few mm out and still be able to clamp them up in my yokes?
I presume I need the wheel too if it is another front end, so what problems could I have with different wheel sizes? Just trying to get my head round your suggestion GSX
Marsha67ParticipantPM sent too Freddy. Hope this helps you in your quest
Marsha67ParticipantSeriously? 200 mph wheelie? Maaaad!
Marsha67ParticipantNever had a rat bike as such but a few of mine were quite rough. I think that a quick once-over with GSX’s blackboard paint could only have helped.
Do like the look of that one in the picture above.Marsha67ParticipantRomance
Oh no, what have I said?
Marsha67ParticipantRemember scaring my parents like that. They weren’t suprised when I bought a big motorbike. It’s in you from an early age.
Marsha67ParticipantHi Piston. I had a pink bike once too. Barbie jokes eventually made me sell but you are a bloke so you’ll be stronger!
Marsha67ParticipantThanks for the help guys. I forgot I left this thread here. My problems were in fact solved by (ahem) tightening the steering head bearings. Well done all who said that and thanks for the PM’s from Imperial and Wheelie, we’re back on track again!
Marsha67ParticipantA very scaredycat 110mph on my 600 Honda. I’ll have to try better (on the Autobahn!)
