You can’t beat a bit of protection as the bishop said to the actress (or was that choir boy…)

Had to do some repairs to the Husky yesterday, trouble with big single cylinder engines is the vibes and they have shaken the rear subframes bolts loose on both sides so the only thing holding the back of the bike on was the bolts minus their nuts! :O

Found a couple of nuts that fit and put it back together again. Also re mounted the alarm box as it was moving about a bit and think it was just a matter of time before it got wrapped round the rear wheel leaving me well and truly screwed.

Am really loving riding the beast now its up to full power and by god is she naughty! [:D] Stoppies and wheelies are just TOO easy to do so have now taken to leaving big black lines in the tarmac when cornering on familiar parts, I know I should be taking it easy with my duff shoulder but it is very hard not to misbehave on the lil bugger! [:D]

Try put locking washers underneath the nuts and bolt heads. This should stop them vibrating off.

I had a look at some Huskys at the Cosford airshow (they had a stand), very impressive close up.

still not tried the locking washers but so far the tail has stayed put! [:D]

Popped out for a couple of hours today as had no work, great fun ride down to Devils Dyke near Brighton. Had a National Trust chap have a heart attack almost coz he thought I was gonna go onto the Dyke beyond the car park lol [:D]

Although I totally think this bike rocks… IT IS KERFLAPPIN AWESOME!!! [:D]…. I am thinking about choppin it in (and also selling the KTM EXC 250f as well) The Husky is gonna get me an ASBO and probably banned and seein as I got it to calm me down from a sportsbike it really isn’t doing its job however much fun it is to ride.

I know a few people who have switched to Supermoto bikes in order to ‘calm-down’ and all have said the opposite has been the case

It really is the bestest and most silly bike I have ever owned, I do love it and riding it but its good points are also its downfall and with it being completely impractical as a day to day motorcycle it needs a playground without police and pedestrians to mess around in, unfortunately the playground known as Crawley has lots of both! lol [:D] sadest thing to me about it is it has less than 1500miles in the clocks! :(
