Next time I am in East Anglia I might have to raid for a butty. OK if I bring my own fungi to go with the bacon and eggs?
Anyway I thought Bantams were BSA’s or did I miss the yoke? (groan).
Hope you get the posting piccy sorted as I would be interested to take a look at a bike like yours. []RadarModeratorI didn’t think that it was possible to turn your nose up to a Bacon roll even if your name was Manny Goldstien!! Clearly I was wrong. Just hope it was a one off incident. To really top off a bacon butty you do need a runny fried egg and mushrooms, was this where you went wrong?
[][][][]RadarModeratorCookeye,
Sounds brilliant fun and thanks for the excellent feedback. I have to go to Northumberland to visit family over the weekend, but will check out the website when I get back. As a trackday virgin I need to get a fix of this kind of action soon!! Don’t think it will be this year though as things are pretty busy for me over the next couple of months.RadarModeratorRedgear,
I think CCM do adventure weekends and day long courses on their bikes.
Check out the web site I havn’t had a chance to.
Let us know if they still do it.http://www.ccm-motorcycles.com

[xx(]RadarModeratorI agree with Cookeye and Wheelie, ID has laid on an excellent site and I really enjoy using it. More people to bounce off would be fun.
[Posting is paradise!!][]RadarModeratorLet me know exact dates, it would be a laugh to come and watch.
RadarModerator100+ and still here! Hey cookeye, we will have to get more people posting, any ideas?
[A post a day helps you work rest and play!][8]RadarModeratorWill be really interested in the BMF info, I never thought of asking them! What a twit! Anyway, where would you be racing in November?
I think this is my 100th post, do I get a goldstar ID? (Que bad BSA jokes now!
[]RadarModeratorI will let you know when I am down in Norfolk. Hope that a shortarse like me can deal with a supermoto ok. I miss having a race track on my doorstep, I used to pop up to Snetteton pretty regularly as I lived only 10 miles from it for 6 years.
Do you mean Mick Hinchcliffe? In which case yes I do. he used to work in test and rode a Yam XV750Se by memory. One of my mates bought his blue Yam XJ650 from him. He left Lotus to sell insurance, but i don’t think that worked out for him. I do know there has been some BIG changes in his life in recent years.
Are you ex RAF too? There were loads of ex RAF lads at Lotus in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.RadarModeratorCookeye, I live in Worcestershire at the moment, but go back to Norfolk about 5 or 6 times a year to visit family. Perhaps I could tie in a visit with getting a taste of Supermoto?[]
RadarModeratorOK OK I’ve got a caravan. Just like a bike really: two wheels and only used on sunny weekends!
On a bike you thrash past a queue, with a caravan I create a queue for the rest of you lot to pass on your bikes. Synergy!!RadarModeratorCookeye, certainly sounds like you are having a blast on these wicked devices. Perhaps when the cashflow improves and wifey isn’t looking I ought to add a CCM to the fleet and go and check out the roads around here properly!!
