Great write-up and some cracking photos!
Did German-Mom get Matt’s phone number?
Now there is a question!
RadarModeratorMuppets!
Just in case, I like to ride with no camera, no GPS tracker, no nosey Smart-phone apps; etc.: so no self-inflicted evidence.
And no pillion intercom, too
Snap!
RadarModeratorI’ve joined the dark side and part exed my super tenere against a gs adventure.
Time will tell whether it’s the right choice.
Good luck with the new bike, hope she runs well for you!
Have you seen the GS reviews on here?

September 27, 2016 at 10:21 pm in reply to: Europe June 2016 Part 1 – Damp Pants, Big Pizzas, Huge Forts and no we Didn’t #69283RadarModeratorGood atmospheric report, Radar!! Great roads and good beer: sounds like fun was had…
I’ve never ridden in Germany, though a close mate owns a vineyard on the Mosel so Debs is angling for a visit…
Cheers, more to follow over the next week or so.
We barely scratched the surface really, Germany is huge. We did go to the Mosel valley so watch this space
September 27, 2016 at 10:17 pm in reply to: Spanish Loop 2016 pt3: ‘How to crash a Tex’ and ‘Conclusions’ #69291RadarModeratorBrilliant write up and great pics.
I spent a week on a walking holidays in the Picos in June and saw loads of british reg bikes out there, and some amazing roads through the valleys. Really fancy going back on the bike, certainly in the areas we were in the cost of living was very cheap, and the Sidra and tapas were excellent Now you’ve whetted my appetite to see of the other areas too.I did the Picos in 2014 on my Ducati…you must ride there at some point, the roads are amazing

How horrendous is the Chinese ‘tribute’ the Ryuka 150???RadarModeratorThe link I put up on FB is getting quite a lot of response…seems the minds of bikers are open to this sort of thing
September 26, 2016 at 10:11 pm in reply to: Spanish Loop 2016 pt1: Spain can be bloody hot in September! #69284RadarModeratorBrilliant stuff, and so good to see Don featuring. Love his BMW cafe racer, has he still got his GS too? Glad you enjoyed the 623, the lads in the office when I worked in Burgos reckoned it was good. A proper adventure and I was amused at Deb’s attempt to smuggle in extra gear!
Is Spain the best country in Europe to ride in?
September 26, 2016 at 10:08 pm in reply to: Spanish Loop 2016 pt2: Sailing the Tex on viaducts #69288RadarModeratorFantastic review and what stunning pictures, reminds me why I love riding in Spain so much! Just noticed the crashing reference for part 3…hope it wasn’t too serious…
September 22, 2016 at 9:20 pm in reply to: Yamaha MT-10 Transformers – Motorbikes in Disguise! Review and Piccies!! #69216RadarModeratorThe MT-10 is a mightily impressive bike, I am still toying with the idea getting rid of the MV and Duke and getting one.
Don’t totally rule out an MT-09…have a try….this what I thought of it…https://bikemeet.net/forums/topic/yamaha-mt-09-tasty-triple-review-and-pics/

August 30, 2016 at 8:31 pm in reply to: 24.08.16 THE FLEECE Bretforton bike night, now with piccies! #69264RadarModeratorI reckon their were 12 of us altogether on 3 Triumph Explorer 1200s, 2 BMW GS1200, a 883 Harley, a 636 Kwack, my Thundercat and Skoda Fabia (Good old kat). Big E, well done!
I make it 13 – not bad for a wet Wednesday in Bretforton!
That virtually doubled the population!
August 25, 2016 at 10:09 pm in reply to: Kawasaki ZR550 – Do I buy a new exhaust and other adventures #69230RadarModeratorWell I got the exhaust off without snapping any exhaust studs…and this was the result…
Access the studs wasn’t the greatest
But a little gentle persuasion soon did the trick…
This was one of the smaller holes…The exhaust is off being welded with a friend of Ses’s and I pick a new set of collets from my local bike shop tomorrow.
They were cheaper than all the on-line tat and I get OE bits…always worth checking before you start clicking I suppose!
