Those issues with the clutch are disappointing on a brand new bike, but at least the dealer sorted them without quibble. I can only think a new dash panel is the answer to the condensation issue. Interesting to note the weak rear brake, I have the same problem with the one on my MV, but it did at least pass an MOT

October 3, 2017 at 10:13 pm in reply to: Twisted Iron …The Happening Custom Bike Show 15th 16th September #69871RadarModeratorhow are you finding living with a custom bike? It has changed me, I’ve become precious about mine! lol
So far it has been very interesting. Some problems that linger from the 550’s stint as my winter hack remain. The wiring needs work, nothing to do with the build, it was issue we saw on the build day. Also I am still have problems with fuel and carbs. Again a carryover problem. So need to sort those out over winter. Might fit new clutch plates too.
As riding experience the bike is utterly transformed from mild mannered Clark Kent into Superman…it feels so much more fun to ride. It also gets loads of attention, which I am happy about. I have become so much more precious about, so much so that I now need a new general hack! I was looking at a CBX750 on ebay tonight!
More jobs for the winter include improving the seat location so it is easier to get on and off, and I nned a better mounting for the rear brake reservoir too.
But from a conversation over a cuppa at work the whole experience has been amazing…the four hour build, the Youtube TV programme, my first bike show…
We need to get our bikes together and get Spazk to take some pics!

RadarModeratorYes, a reasonable turnout, but mainly cruiser type bikes. Was nice to take an evening ride out on the Guzzi, lovely weather and dry roads, and had never been into Evesham town centre before. Was very pleasant in the square and by the abbey.
Katana, who rides a RSV Millie lives in Eversham, it is a lovely town. You might of met him when you popped up to watch my 550 get transformed back in March.
Good to see that bike meets getting a turnout. The ‘season’ is nearly over!
RadarModeratorJust had a notification for this pop up on Facebook, weather looks good for tomorrow, anyone from here going?

RadarModeratorSlowly repairing my old posts and bike reviews with new picture links….a real pain in the bum! Got most of the bike trips done and some bike reviews. This will take me months!
RadarModeratorCan see the pictures now!
Like the reasoning behind the name for your 883. I remember riding one back in 1989 not long after a mate had just bought one new…I loved the rumble of the engine and the torque.
Good to see a fellow Thundercat owner on here too…did you find your way here from the Facebook group?
I hope the new HD lives up to expectations, you might enjoy a read of a review of the 1585 Dyna I rode a few years ago…

We like our bike reviews on here, so if you want to write one about any of your bikes that would be great.
Pop on you Vlogs too as and when you feel like
What is the biking sence like in Cornawall? I have friends near Padstow, but they are more into Hot Rod cars rather than bikes
Good luck with the new HD!
RadarModeratorEnjoy the first weekend on the KTM?
