also, is it the yam or aprilia 125, if its the yam then https://bikemeet.net/forums/topic/yamaha-sr125-wiring-diags/
GSX RatParticipantdoesnt matter where its earthed as long as its cleaned up beforehand.
GSX RatParticipantDidnt mean it to sound that way ID / Lev, its just that at the end of the day they have a job to do, and im sure that you would rather see a few people have to retake a test than it be the other way round, and borderline cases get a license anyway..
there’s enought bad drivers on the road without opening the way up to any more, sure it sucks that you failed – i did both tests, i did one at 17 same as ID where they stand at the side of the road, and to be fair it was a piece of pi$$, but i also did the new one and that isnt much harder, although i took that one with several years of riding experience.
Sh!t happens, retake it and pass then you wont have to worry about it any more….

Apparently this examiner who will remain nameless (and a bastard) is notorious for failing people for nothing!
so i suppose you would rather that he passed you even though you didnt reach the required standard for the test.
stop blaming someone else, reach the required standard and competance to ride and you wont have a problem.GSX RatParticipantwell, sorry – but if the guy didnt get a slapping for his numptyness then you should hang your head in shame……
GSX RatParticipantnooooooooooo, they are not a classic…
they are a piece of sh#te, i have owned briefly 3 of them
dog slow, rough as f#ck – mind you, look out for a forthcoming post on the cb250rs i just bought…………….
GSX RatParticipantif i’d lost a grand and half on a bike in a year i’d be chucking a petrol bomb thru his window never mind being happy to buy something else off him..
Seriously, he’s taking you for a c*nt – you can get a better deal than that off him, walk in with cash and YOU tell HIM what you are going to pay for something, most places will knock £500 off without batting an eyelid, and you can get better than that.
Dont part ex, get it repaired and sell it private, you’ll be far better off.Just my opinion…..
GSX RatParticipantYou actually think they are going to care?, the fact that they are just winding people up is proved by the fact that the comments are private…

Funny that, because it worked on the 2 kids that broke into my garage, in fact – they havent broke into anyones garage since i dont think, £100 bought a lump hammer, 4 wrists and a lot of hospital time…..
GSX RatParticipantjust slashing their tyres wont do much good, they’ll just up the ante until someone gets hurt – your better off just bunging someone hundred quid and then going out for the day to somewhere popular, when you get back – oh dear, someone broke into their house and gave them a good kicking………
GSX RatParticipantapparantley carol nash do a multi bike policy as well, although it was more expensive than the quote i got from andersons.
GSX RatParticipantif they brought in a choice re helmets,i wouldnt wear one round town or in the country – motorway use etc i probably would…
same way as i never wear a seatbelt in a car i suppose….
yeah, i’ve heard all the arguments, and got ticketed for it but when you start arguing with the coppers that its my life, and my choice they have no reply except the standard police speak bullshit.
I personally have found, that the seatbelt law is enforced more rigidly than the helmet law….GSX RatParticipanti totslly agree that they are the good guys – good in the respect that the coppers are so busy after them, they dont bother with anyone else!!!
GSX RatParticipantdoes that helmet fit the shape of your head []
whats the idea of the lump?
and no, i didnt mean the rider……. []
GSX RatParticipantmaybe 60% of the time i wear jeans, 35% cammo trousers and 5% a pair of leather trousers.
Nearly always wear a leather jacket, although half the time its undone and flapping in the breeze (so might as well not have it on as your chest would soon be scrubbed bare.
Wear either dm’s or sidi boots and nearly always wear gloves (unless in out on the 125 or cub on and off the field which is a bit stupid really but…)As for the helmet, if you fancy a ride without one (and it is a nice feeling, youve got to at least try it once) pick a quiet road somewhere and if you do get spotted by a copper and your taking it easy half the time they leave you alone, sometimes they pull you over and tell you to put it on, and you get the occasional nobhead who tickets you (its non endorsable so you only get a fine, no points)
Round here, they mainly turn a blind eye – too busy nicking power rangers with small number plates, load exhausts and a throttle that seems to be stuck back at the stop - AuthorPosts
