I reckon I can do it with the fairings on. The bolts are fairly accessible. Just a case of jacking the bike up off its front end, rear paddock stand and a bottle jack under the sump should be okay. It can only go wrong once.
My bike failed it MOT yesterday. One of the fork deals has leaked oil onto the brake pads. £120 for the garage to do it. I just bought everything off eBay for under £40. That’s my job for this weekend!
Quick update. New carb only arrived the other day. Got the ped back from jc motorcycles at half five this afternoon so good work to rob and the guys to get that sorted. Replacement carb is fitted and tuned. We only got a quick blat around the back of joes house but it feels nice and reponsive. Fairings have the final coat of paint on them.
Nothing like a bit of pressure to get the old heart going!

My bike isn’t the biggest, the quickest, the cleanest; it has crash damage on the fairings and exhaust and a big scuff mark on the fuel tank when I dropped it in the garage, but my bike still puts a grin on my face every time I go out on it.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
I am busy until second weekend March if that makes sense. 9th or 10th? Or else I can probably do a midweek at some point
Our 125hundreds race series should show how much abuse each bike can take, we have twist and gos,
if you want to see abuse, try and get upto the BMF show at Peterborough in May. We are taking part in the moped enduro again!
