Gino now has all the new parts fitted after the women reversed into it. Looks all shiny and brand new :)

Decided to sell the bike as time is running out to fix it as I am hopefully off to uni in September. Stuck it up on gumtree and got a surprising amount of interest. Rescue bike now has a new home and should be up and running properly soon :)

This now means I have made space for another bike right?

starter solenoid has arrived, just have to fit it and see if that helps get it running. Had someone come and look at it today looking for a bike to use for work and back. They are going to get back to us soon :)

The battery and gear lever arrived. Fitted the gear lever without much trouble.
As for the battery, unfortunately we have the wrong one and we are sorting this out with the seller on ebay. Hopefully the new battery and some fresh fuel will get the bike going.:)

Tried the battery today.. still no joy. I think a new battery will be needed.

Going to try and bump start it tomorrow and see if that works

Started to do a little bit of work on the bike today !

    – Took the battery put and put it on charge (bike still not starting so we will leave it on charge for a bit longer)
    – Put some WD40 on the main stand and side stand to loosen them up a bit. working a lot better now.
    – Polished the front forks a bit
    – Pumped the tyres up

Hopefully after a good charge the battery will work and we can get the bike started :)
