My riding buddy of the last three years went for a test ride on the same bike at the same dealers, and although didn’t place an order there and then is now frantically saving up to get one next year. He also had to put in the fuel he used, he was though gone for two hours, well I BELIEVE HIM when he claimed he couldn’t find his way back! There are some STONKING reviews for this machine

Thanks for the Link Katana, it was absolutly great [:D]. Those unwanted sales calls ALWAYS wind me up, it was good to hear some `just desserts` being given to THEM and wasting THEIR time!

Will have to count me out on that occassion, it`s Remembrance Day and Civic Duties have to be attended to. On the day be prepared for a hold up where ever you are just before 11 for about 20 minutes. Great pity that, I`ve yet to get over to Matlock Bath !

Thanks for the 2 links Radar read and registered. Out of interest the Isle of Man Special came with suggested suspension settings from the Relentless Suzuki By TAS Team which I duly “Dialed in” AFTER it had been run in. I am staying with the settings for now the main advantage for me is that sudden shocks through the front end on harsh roads have been dampened out. Will post those settings soon.

Good Luck to you Pete247, I agree that places like these and the locations they are in are justly required for very harmonious rehabilitation, after all, our Forces Personnel are prepared to lay near on everything on the line in defence of our nation. For 14 years I was on call at anytime to “Keep the peace” in the Wyre Forest area which is not exactly “gun city” but the knowledge that you COULD come off worse when on duty was something that you just lived with and got used to. Now I may be also waffling on a bit, but in my defence several cans of Special Brew per night just might be to blame. GET WELL SOON!

Hi katana, no the “CX at the back of the garage” is a 1980 CX500A with 23500 on the clock, sadly needing a good re-furb, which WILL get done in a year or two. Much ridiculed over the years they may have been but I think a decent looking one will be shown a fair amount of interest when parked up at biker meets. Thanks for the welcome[:)]
