DOH!
Glad you got it sorted. If you fancy a winter run in the Cotswolds then pop in for a cuppa.
katanaParticipantI can sent you the site I found the “shed” on if you want?
katanaParticipantNot here yet SES, but I only ordered them a week ago. I’ve had a few emails from them confirming the exact model of the blade etc.
Good to hear from you TT07. I did a lot of research before placing an order and saw the actual delivered fairings on blogs etc of this company. They specialise in Honda fairings so it must have been another company? After saying that I noticed a lot of them used “stock” photos on their websites.
katanaParticipantThe Mutt was well finished. I kinda liked it
I also really liked the look of the CX but wondered if it still went like the original?
WK are coming on in leaps and bounds. I first saw them a few of years ago at the show and the fit and finish improves everytime I see them.
katanaParticipantNow sold and with it’s new owner. Going to be a great first bike for him.
The sale raised another £1250 for Ian’s charities. Thanks to Ebay, PayPal and Reading Honda for their support.
The current total is over £6000.
katanaParticipantI went up on Wednesday.
Although the show was smaller then the last time I went up a few years ago, all the major manufactures were there. Plus a few “new” ones e.g. Indian.
Highlights for me were sitting next to Chris Walker on the bus from the car park and finding both a Hardley Movinson and CX500 that I like.
Here’s some piccys:
katanaParticipantWhat no brown sauce on the light salad?
katanaParticipantReckon it suits you. Great write up as usual.
katanaParticipantGoing to go up mid week – prob wed 27th

katanaParticipantCheers Radar
katanaParticipantAlready got it on series record
katanaParticipantI went a few years ago (when they were last at Donnington and enjoyed it. Ron Haslam was on hand all day and him and the rest of the instructors were very approachable.
One tip make sure that your wife videos the right person (all leathers, helmets and bikes are identical). Mrs Kat video’d the wrong bloke all day when I was there, I wouldn’t have minded but he was even slower then I was!
Not my sort of thing now however, so won’t be joining you this time.
katanaParticipantI’ve a bit planned for the winter.
Blade: sort out front brakes, new tyre
Kat: got to get it road worthy for 2014 after being off the road for a couple of years. replumb oil cooler, find a new shock that fits, new battery, more then likely have to clean carbs, free brakes, ect.
