Surely that’s one of the great things about motorcycling – something for everyone…
GordyParticipantSling in some fish fingers. Bound to be cheaper.
GordyParticipant“thats the latest ergonomic technological advance in re-tread tyres” … when I were a lad all jap tyres felt like that !
GordyParticipantunjust
GordyParticipantHi R. Looks neat. The colour scheme suits my tastes. The fairing should make it truly usable too. Good choice!
GordyParticipantIn the video frame it noted “bikemovies.com”, so I checked it out and it took me to https://www.bikepics.com/bikemovies/
You just gotta smile at the antics of some folk…
Cheers peeps, Gordy.
GordyParticipant…get it syndicated and make us all smile…

GordyParticipantHi, I always fancied one of the original blades. I wanted that one! (The twin round lamp blade with the white / red / blue paint). I remember seeing one that looked sooooooo-racer-cool at the TT back in ’93 when I was ZX-10 (plus girlfriend and luggage) mounted. However I ended up with a ’94 fox eye, bought in ’97 and I’ve still got it! I have kept it standard and this is going to be my “modern classic”, so when someone drones on about their BSA Rocket Gold Star from the ’60s I can bore them with tales of my ‘blade from the ’90s !
Take it easy, G.
GordyParticipantAlways wanted one back then but could never afford it. Just like the Ducati Darmah, Triumph T140D, Yamaha RD400, etc., etc…
GordyParticipantMatey it’s no big deal. Both are mid-range so-so motorcycles from profit-focused manufacturers. Both are reasonably well developed. Both have UK-wide service back-up. Either will be fun. Both will be faster and more caperble than you. So choose the one that appeals to your heart-strings. It really is as simple as that.
GordyParticipantEh-up matey. I didn’t see the article, so I can only hope that it included a certain ‘Norfolk field / VF1000 interface incident’ !!!
Keep up the good work. G.
GordyParticipantA ban on smoking? I guess that rules out two-strokes then, huh?
GordyParticipantSo how many times are you going to live? And at what age are you going to be more suited to an RD500? Sell some tat and go buy the RD.
Get your finger out. Don’t take the sh_t any longer. Go enjoy.
See you soon.
G.GordyParticipant…the thought that after a long ol’ wait my trusty blade will be back on the road soon…
