Forget the curry, it’s too rushed between arriving at the house then going on from there
How about we order a couple of pizzas and sit down with a laptop and a map and iron a solid plan out
ChampsParticipantHas thumper or mads got any preference?
For the record, I am not overly bothered
ChampsParticipantThe only other option is then France run. Gives us freedom to move when we want
ChampsParticipantIt’s not Tuesday to Tuesday because your sitting on a ferry either side of that.
That’s the options unless we move the date completely or run through France.
ChampsParticipantOkay so I have been in contact with the owner of …
https://www.ownersdirect.co.uk/france/fr11616.htm?cid=E_inqconfirm_DB_T__Property_LPROP__
Its available at present, there is no driveway for parking however she believes we can park up on the next door neighbours drive, although she will confirm of we need.
Personally, I think this is the better option. Regardless of parking (that’s what locks are for), this has location, availability and cheapness, plus it looks good.
I am also concerned since Brittany ferries are already getting booked up. I think we need to push on a firm plan over the next two weeks
ChampsParticipantOkay, so if we land Tuesday morning and ride to Pamplona for Tuesday night then onto base camp for Wednesday night.
Leave base camp Monday morning, back to Pamplona Monday night before an early run to Bilbao for Tuesday morning.
ChampsParticipantFound another option, although on the expensive side, does include breaky and evening meal
Personally I would rather go for self catering due to various dietary requirements but its am idea

ChampsParticipantI have contacted the owner by email about the property I posted, asking about availability and parking details.
I will let you know what you want to know when I know what they know… you know?
ChampsParticipantWell mine will stay in the living room because she doesn’t like being outside
On a serious note, I never really checked. But that website is full of properties in that area
ChampsParticipantPer person, is your price based on 21st because that’s full?
ChampsParticipantJust had an ‘online’ chat with a Brittany ferry advisor. Not the easiest way of talking but I got a price of £328, for 6 bikes. 18th to santander, 19th to bilbao and 23rd are currently available but 21st has no motorcycle spots left. Annoyingly she put the return trip as 29th for all options and I have only just noticed but I think that’s what we are looking at either way.
Last time we went to Europe on the bikes the camping and caravanning club sorted all our bookings out. Might phone them Monday and see if they have a different price
ChampsParticipantI am not convinced of staying somewhere called ‘the barn’ !?!?

ChampsParticipantVery nice, but I don’t think Ses will like the fancy food! (Find the foto gallery)
ChampsParticipantWow, I must be really boring. My first car was a fiat punto!
