I’ve only found US suppliers so far and the cheapest price has been $40 for up to 750cc bikes and $50 for over but shipping not included. Cheers![]
Black WidowParticipantAha! What a canny idea! I’ll let you know how I get on…. []
Black WidowParticipantI thought of that but it’s a bit of a clart trying to get the bike up on my own! Thought this little gadget would ensure that I checked my oil and oiled the chain properly and regularly!
Black WidowParticipantNe’er mind hocus… you’ll be mended for our next rally and it’s only a mile from where you live! (just to ease you back on your own saddle gently)
Black WidowParticipantSorry Digger…. didn’t mean to offend….. I have a warped sense of humour…..
And I’ve no idea as it’s medieval history but I can recommend a website!Black WidowParticipantA lot of them are the same as Greek religion was influenced by Egyptian and then as Eastern, Greek and Roman cultures mingled the gods tended to too. Although you do find that the same god might be protector of something else somewhere else… e.g. Artemis was the goddess of animals and the wilderness but in Greek cities she was also the goddess of childbirth.
What’s brown and sits on a piano stool? Beethoven’s last movement
By the way – there’s another rally coming up called the Farmyard on 17th/18th/19th June in Helmsley North Yorkshire. I wasn’t sure if this forum ever organised meet-ups at these kind of things or if web links can be posted but all being well myself, hocus pocuss and Mr Bump will be in attendence if anyone else is going.
Black WidowParticipantSorry GSF but they ARE the best make of bike
Thanks for the advice Barmy – might have to look into that although I’ve just got in from a 100 mile or so ride up from sunny scarborough to Durham and don’t feel too bad… must’ve been the 400mgs of ibroprofen I had before I set off!
Black WidowParticipantI think the angle of the pizza depends on
a) whether you’re taking it home on your bike
b) whether you are taking it home in your car
c) you do the sensible thing and get it delivered
but whichever I highly recommend a bbq base instead of tomato….. it’s scrumdiddleyunctious!Black WidowParticipantOh blimey… I used to have a proper job but I’m now slumming it as a mature student. If my extensive knowledge of ancient Greek and Roman history can assist anyone in their day to day life then please let me know!!! Oh, also currently working as stand manager at stadium of light, cleaner for haulage company and care for two ladies, one with downs syndrome/alzheimers and the other with involuntary movements…. best stick to history
Black WidowParticipantThank you all for your welcomes!
Please excuse all the comments from hocus pocuss and Mr Bump – the only time they can get one over on me verbally is when I’m not there!! [^]Black WidowParticipantI know!!!
I really must stop you from hanging round with my pooches so much – you’re teaching them bad habits[:p]
Black WidowParticipantMr Bump you missed off the word “here” – now everyone will think you were referring to me rather than your other nickname! After all… they say small things often come in big packages!!! Maybe you should get some smaller knickers… might help you from sliding off yer bike tee hee heeee…..
Black WidowParticipant…. and you wouldn’t think you’d have to spend over 5 hours at the hospital for one teeny weeny finger!!! The things we poor friends have to do! I’ll be thinking of you as I ride to the Fox ‘n Dale…. probably cos you’ll be up me bum in the car! Don’t forget the beer
