No.2 is a good reason why we dont ride in bad weather! When I was younger yeah I rode in all weathers! Thats probably why I got arthritis now!

Hi all you folks, I am a 46yr old biker, With my other half we, have rode, old British bikes like the BSA, We’ve rode Cruisers like the Yamaha Virago 1100, and now our current bike a full powered FZX, now these are all totally different bikes, Got to admit i do love our current bike, gotta bit of oomph! if you know what I mean!Throughout our biking years We have stopped when another biker in distress, I always give a nod if I see a fellow biker no matter what he rides! And that is how we are today, so I gotta agree with speedyclaire on this issue. But yes I have noticed there are quite a lot of ignorant bikers these days that dont acknowledge you, and it was never like that 15-20yrs ago. So if there are any of you that dont acknowledge a nod, You’re pig ignorant!

1. They are very expensive. 2. When its raining it means theres low pressure, which in turn effects arthritis….. badly! So at times like these I dream of high pressure, arthritis going into remission and loads of bike riding,Do quite a few thousand miles then, cause gotta catch up what we missed.

Hi GSF, My hubby Dave is the pilot of our FZX 750. Welcome to the Forum, quite a friendly bunch this lot. We are from Romsey, which is near Southampton, We’ve been up Boxhill, Dorking, during the summer, Quite a few bikers meet up there on a Sunday. The FZX by the way is called the baby VMax. It is lighter than the Vmax and leaner buy just as fast full powered one. Can see pic of our bike either by clicking on profile or under heading updated FZX. members bikes.

Yeah after I wrote this we had sun, rain, hail & snow all within a space of 1 hour, So now I’m hoping Tuesday’s a nice day! Weather well weird today!
