Only feel sorry for you if you feel sorry for us[:p] Remember what this time of year spells for us! Theres many Months of “It’s nice now but SHOULD I risk taking this nice clean bike out or not[?]” Around here they salted the roads last week!
TT07ParticipantWhoops! will refer to the YZF as “Thundercat” then hopefully wont get its reference wrong again. I must have been stuck in the past (as against retro mode- as thats now curent as well!) and used 80’s Yamaha Lingo.Note taken on the Gixxer 6 impessions.
TT07ParticipantI’m speechless! Downside is … too far me to commute to my job! Upside … too many to mention!?!?!
TT07ParticipantYes regret selling my XN85 Turbo Suzuki[V]. I was into car rallying back in 1984, and borrowed some cash from the in-laws to get an RS2000 Escort, I don’t like being in debt so sold the bike to pay them back rapid like. It was only a third of the value that was owed back to them, and they were in no rush for me to pay it back!. What an idiot I was, with only 1180 odd ever built for world distribution, I SHOULD NOT HAVE SOLD IT!
TT07ParticipantFrom the angle of the sun you were there mid morning, I got there at 3, yes give me the points for your XJ parked in the bus stop where my 600 was parked up later, I actually had a ride out on the 600 for the 1st time since getting the 1000K7 in mid June, it did feel strange to start with but I soon got in the groove, no need to watch out for rises in the road where the 1000 would get light on the front, definately less intense riding on the 600! I recall envying the owners of the KH750’s when new, and them being thrashed on that very road where the cafe is at Quatt and also the Bridgnorth-Stewpony road, they only did 12 to the gallon!(When 5* Juice was 33p per gallon). Have you heard the Ariel Atom when accelerating hard, WOW!!
TT07ParticipantI COULD be up for it too[], will get in touch with you Radar nearer the date to see if both you and I are free (and dependent on the weather). Likewise, I’ve never been there either.
TT07ParticipantSorry about the mind-block. It’s Alan Ward.
TT07ParticipantDoes he live at Dunley on the Heightington Road, the house name being Noah’s Ark? (Am saying that cos I’ve forgotten his name, but not where he lives)

Look closely TT07 you would recognise him too!
Well the bike looks familiar[:p], but not the rider. Is it a WORKS rider[?] If so he must have transfered from another Team, if so who did he used to ride for[?] (At the least give me another clue!)
TT07ParticipantYep I like the idea of sitting a lot further forward, that should help in keeping the front down, as should that wheelie bar, also wider section rear should give more grip when in launch mode! Guess the power output is up a fair bit with the rear tread worn that far down, either that or you’ve snapped a race version running with rear slick!*!*!
TT07ParticipantYes have spent a little of the hard earned cash. Can confirm that all clothing (inc. Weise) and all helmets are 50% off. But if you can get there, you best be quick, as word got about on Wednesday so stock is going very quickly.
TT07ParticipantYep I`m the same as you and can see her turning in either direction. At first I could only see clockwise rotation then after a few minutes could see anti-clockwise, now I can even see it change forwards and backwards in half a rotation! Weird eh!
TT07ParticipantThanks imperialdata, I wondered why my last post refused to get through, since yesterday. Yes I noted the intrusion a couple of days ago, and didn’t try to go to the link that was posted, it’s rapid deletion shows that THE TEAM are on the ball. I WILL email my suspicions (should there be any) in the future. Cheers
TT07ParticipantHave updated with a Honda CB400-4 F2 Photo and it’s yet another HAIR photo!
TT07ParticipantYes Radar thats the chap, will try to get him to join and assist him to start giving posts
