Nicely put Radar. The whole weekend will stay with me always – great sights, great company, thank you both.

Just a tip for your future foreign travel plans – I know why your fuel economy may have suffered more thsn most…

Could it be the caravan club ‘GB’ sticker mounted on a plate the size on a parachute that thwarted your frugality?

    Good fun guys… where next?

    Hello CGR Bike Gear,
I find that garments under jackect tend to ‘ride’ up most infuratingly as you go along, leaving a drafty portion of my back at the belt line exposed.
Wondered if you could combat this in a new way without tops as long as night shirts?
For example, what about a hook / clip system to trousers, or belts. Maybe the cam over clips that are used on bracers could be developed as an idea?

Welcome to the site Tony, great to have you onboard!
My Goodness – Great pictures bud, Takes me back.
I’m sure there will be a TBF ride out coming as soon as the weather picks up, and that will be a great chance to see a few of the guys and girls who enjoy the site.
Loved the story & pictures, and hope to see you and the GPX soon.
    Cheers [a CB50J rider]

Thanks for the report and pictures Radar.
I really enjoyed the show, pleasant company and super weather.
There was a favorite bike for just about anyone there. I had too many to mention ;-)
We all had a nice ride back to Sutton Coldfield from Kidderminster, via Bridgenorth, Shifnal & Brewood. We are lucky having such nice countryside.

Roll on the nexr ride out eh? – an Indian summer would be good too.

Sorry I’m a bit behind the curve on this, but I also rated hime highly, sad to hear another person has gone in this way.

He’s probably half way though fixing Barry Sheene’s Daytona bike by now…

I remember Fred, but I havent seen him for a while now in the shop. My thoughts are with Roy, Beryl and the family.
I also have been going to this shop for years, and found them very trustworthy, and informative.
    RIP Fred

Thanks for all the concern about my lack of a Duke !
I have to say – the plan is to get another Monster, like a S2R or similar, so not reallt too concerned yet!
Also, lost my job – so we all have to make [TEMPORARY – hopefully] comromises.
The Roadie VTR, the long legged Tiger, and the mad TDR will do just fine for now.

Cosford – I cut is a bit fine with my plans, but it really makes me want to go again next year!

I’m thinking about taking my washing macchins aport right now & having a bash!

But seriously, of all the types of battery vehicle, I can’t see another sectore that makes more sense for commuting at least than on motorcycles. I gues when the ‘Tesla’ type on par performance hits the streets – everyone will notice.
I guess you’ll not hear these over-take you though!

You’ve said it all guys ! Super write up & piccys chaps!

Thanks for the lovely ride & the great company.

Matlock Bath is surely the cheapest bike show you can go to?
Nice Derbyshire roads, and scenery, Breakfast facilities, pubs if required, ice cream, tea……what else do you need? – the ladies like it too!

We have to challenge ourselves to find, and visit all the other possible destinations with a similar list of goodies checked !

Bring on the next ride out.
