I may be old,but I did get an easy bike licence! Passed my car test after 2 lessons, too. Mind you, driving a 3-wheeler for a few months probably helped.
Swindon AndyParticipantTook mine in 1967, probably cost less than £1.

Causes could be weak mixture caused by under jetting, or induction leak, or with bikes with the oil in the fuel – too much oil. I don’t know if the latter applies to yours?
Or something got in the chamber and glowed/rattled up and down?Any more?
Swindon AndyParticipantIf you look on Detailing World, there’s some good offers. You can pick up a lot of info on there.
Swindon AndyParticipantI rode to work today as well. 92 mile round trip. Basically straight down the M4. I don’t think I’ll bother agin unless there is a real need.
One nice part was on the drive home I tagged along with 4 other bikes including a green Trophy like mine. A nice little convoy.Swindon AndyParticipantCombos take a lot of getting used to. But once you have, they’re a lot of fun… for a while. U turns at 30mph (to the right only). Ride for distance with the chair in the air – that sort of thing. I had a misspent youth, I’m more wary these days.
Swindon AndyParticipantBrilliant, I really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing your trip with us all.
Swindon AndyParticipantYeah sorry about that, I didn’t have the sound on. It’s horrible.

I hope this link works
It’s the opposite, one bike hits multiple vehicles. How will it end?
Swindon AndyParticipantThanks all. you’ve helped adjust my thoughts on this one.
Mind you, I do like the look of FJRs – maybe my next possible, but still plenty of Trophy riding this season yet.Swindon AndyParticipantLooking good for the long trip. Better fill ’em up or the others will want a bit of stowage. I guess the mirrors will be a good width guide.
Swindon AndyParticipantInteresting. They also sound rather nice, if more than one cylinder.
Swindon AndyParticipantImpressed. I would have to include an air mattress for my back. Sun tan lotion?
May 8, 2013 at 7:12 am in reply to: Anyone fancy taking part in the MCN Fantasy Road Race 2013? #65325Swindon AndyParticipantI know nothing about football but blitzed my mates in fantasy league two years running. I know a bit about bike racing and am about last in the fantasy racing. I wonder if success in fantasy is in inverse proportion to knowledge?
Mind you, my riders have been throwing their bikes down quite often, I’ve had to drop Haslam completely.Swindon AndyParticipantWould a 2 stroke have a good torque range for gymkhanas? I would have thought a 4 stroke might have a more useful torque band to minimize gear changes? Or would a 2 stroke’s higher revs be an advantage?
