Love an R1. Would also like an Enfield 350. Don’t know what this says about me?!
As for stopping for bikers, I always do if possible. Stopped a few weeks ago for a bloke on a Kwack custom.he was OK, out of juice and waitng for his Mrs to arrive with a can. He appreciated me stopping and I hope he will pass the favour on sometime.

However in my very brief DR career (3 months, 7,000miles, 3 crashes and 1 speeding ticket), I wore a bright orange 1 piece waterproof suit meant for oil rig workers that cost about a tenner by memory. Ferkin superb piece of kit. I looked a tit, but as Hoolie says ~ “WTF”!
Donate – Or Imperial Data will have you sorted!RadarModeratorFor my part I nod to all bikers. The ones who return the favour the least seems to be BMW and Harley riders around here. Not saying this is the case everywhere.
Generally bikers whatever their bike or background seem to be a friendly lot, as borne out by this forum.
I have owned bikes since I was 16 without a break, I know a few “born agains” and some have fallen into the I had a Z1 so now I will have an R1 trap.
Donate – Or Imperial Data will have you sorted!RadarModeratorNo real history of biking in my family. My sister had a C90, which I have posted about. My brother in law has a Yamaha Thunderace but only got into biking seriously about 7/8 years ago.
My brother, who is 7 years my senior, is now muttering about taking his bike test.
Donate – Or Imperial Data will have you sorted!RadarModeratorNo worries. I like the bike. Amusingly the the 3 reasons you list for not buying it are the same as the ones why I should sell it!
Donate – Or Imperial Data will have you sorted!RadarModeratorI had a kickstart model in 1986. Good bike. Did 6,000 miles in 3 months. Sold it to a mate in November 86. He still has it!
Red with a blue stripe BTW.
The RS is technically for sale if you are interested.

Donate – Or Imperial Data will have you sorted!RadarModeratorWEelcome to the forum and back to the world of biking. Bandit is great choice to re-introduce yourself to motorcycling. I still have a CB250RS and think it is a cracking wee bike.
Don’t live near Peterboro I am afraid, but in the chat room there has been some talk about heading to Matlock bath on March 6th or 13th (or both). Could you make it there?
