I linked your review to the MV forum, had a couple of replies:
I have almost 6K miles on an XRx, am looking to add the Turismo as a second bike. If he wants my experience with the XRx, point him my way (plus I had an ’08 GS for about 6 years). The Turismo interests me because it seems to be a bit more towards the sport side of things and…well…it’s Italian . The XRx is a very good bike, and for a shorter rider it works well. In my case I’m 6’1″ and I ended up getting a *higher* saddle to give me more legroom. Interested to see how the Turismo fits me.

If he is thinking about going for the MV the lower suspension option does cause issues with the sidestand. The MV site does list a lower seat option (not very low though!).

November 30, 2015 at 8:34 pm in reply to: Chinese electric scooter, with an appropriate name? #68869RadarModeratorLol. I don’t know what’s funnier, that name or the thought of you in a foreign country being arrested for taking pictures of VIN plates.
I’m sure you would convince them that you’re a world renowned anorak before making it to the police station though. “Is this Police car running the 130BHP or the more rare 173bhp twin turbo engine?”…
I am a very sad individual and no mistake…
RadarModeratorlooks well built.
I thought that too
RadarModeratorInteresting. Adrian Chiles looks even pudgier-faced in a helmet. No offence Ade, you’re one of my favourite presenters!
It’s about the Saietta and will the clip is from a 5 live Daily special coming up on 1 December 2015.
Cheers for the tip off! We ought to let Thumper know, he likes electric vehicles
RadarModeratorLooks really good. I did a similar journey quite a few years back but didn’t quite reach Portugal as we were enjoying Northern Spain so much and wanted to cut the mileage down a bit. I have fond memories of camping in the Picos D’Europa and the Northern Spanish roads are simply the best there are for bikers – twisty, brilliant visibility, great surfaces and stunning views. Have fun!
Here is your review, good reading and to see your old GPz900R in action

RadarModeratorWorthy of a bump.
RadarModeratorSounds like we have another Worcestershire member here! Welcome to come along on a ride out, but you might have to wait until spring…we are a bit of a fair weather bunch on here!
Looking forward to seeing pics of the 400/4
RadarModeratorI won’t be holding my breath! How many miles this year on it???
This calendar year? Errr, let me check….errr….none….

Booked again for next year. Can’t wait
We did the Picos and Northern Spain last year. It was awesome. Hope you have a great time
If you follow you will be able to see the reviews and pictures of our time there. I went on my Ducati.
November 24, 2015 at 11:05 pm in reply to: Mash 400 Roadstar – Good looking and inexpensive, but…. #68696RadarModeratorJust checked on a website called ‘How many left?’…it tells you how many of a given vehicle type are still on the road. So far only 36 of these have been registered
RadarModerator“The MV just can’t be ridden sensibly: it’s a gorgeous bike but risks losing my licence. year…..”
I might be in trouble with my Brutale then!
RadarModeratorSounds like it is a fight between the Triumph and the MV for business still. Great review and pics.
Here is your MV review as point of comparison
