I was going to suggest the CCM 450GP but figured that 40bhp might be a little underpowered for you.
Felt enough for me, but we were off-road most of the test-ride. And it was very light and agile, so gets up to speed quickly enough.
I’d still like one.For SM it’s the CCM R30 with the 644 Suzuki engine that looks the DBs….
If you’re interested in a Buell my mate Jed is selling his…. it’s quick!
I think Imperial Data’s experience wit the R30i might be enough to put some folk off…

RadarModeratorXSR900?
I was really impressed and they are upright and very cool at the moment

RadarModeratorYour mate has a varied collection of bikes. Those Heralds are actually Chinese, but look ok.
Looks like you had a decent ride out too.
TDM looking good, my Thundercat would benefit from his touch!
RadarModeratorI can’t see r6my’s pic of a CCM for some reason
Other wild cards, Yamaha V-Max…powerful, upright and hold their money.
Ducati Diaval?
One thing is clear from the number of replies, we love to spend somebody else’s money!
RadarModeratorHow about a CCM like the one a fellow forum member the Big E tried recently? He loved it

RadarModeratorhave kinda gone off them a bit now, nout wrong with them but that ship has sailed for me currently
Fair enough. So are you after power, quirky or simple fun?
RadarModeratorI didn’t, but they have upped the price this year for no reason so not going that route.
I love the look of the MV’s but I think you are right to suggest staying clear for now.
How much are the first MT-10s coming on to the used market? Are the folk who must have the latest thing will be trading them in for SP’s with 1500 miles on the clock
RadarModeratorDid you ever get a go on a MT-10?
I think you would love my MV too, but the ways things are I couldn’t recommend one
