“And finally Cyril…”
Shame about Bolivia mate, work gets in the way of everything.
Ireland dates are not working either, so time for a ponder
March 23, 2018 at 10:04 pm in reply to: Forum Meet at YOUR Garage for the 550 ‘Speed Build’ 19/03/2017 #69716RadarModeratorThe V7 is still a delight to ride, it is heavier and slower and slower to turn than the KTM 390 obviously, but once it is warmed up and I am dialled into it, it is a bloody lovely ride and hustles along far better than folk expect it to. I’m actually going off the paint job, but also still think it looks fine. I love finding an excuse to ride it.
Yes mate, we will have to sort a custom meet up at a location suitable for the event! well up for that!I will have come with a list of available weekends and hope this bloody decides to give it a rest soon! Surprised you are going off the paint on the Guzzi…looks stunning!
RadarModeratorhahaha, like father like daughter!
Very much so it seems!
RadarModeratorThe idea of doing a VLOG is a good one, but have no idea how to edit one up. Might need some help here HDrones!
RadarModeratorMarch 20, 2018 at 11:10 pm in reply to: Forum Meet at YOUR Garage for the 550 ‘Speed Build’ 19/03/2017 #69714RadarModeratorSo 1 year on, how you getting on with the bike mate?
I have really loved the whole experience, planning out the build and the theme, then actually making it happen, the feature in 100% Biker, showing it at ‘The Happening’. I have not ridden it as much as I thought I would to be honest, but really enjoyed myself when I have. The summer was iffy and the winter has been so long. It is in a bike shop at the moment for the MOT and I having a couple of bits and bobs done. Pre existing problems and nowt to do with the build. New fuel tap and new ignition switch. All been well should be back on the road as soon as this weekend. We need to get to the Ace cafe on our bikes for a cuppa, catch up and some good pictures!
Here it is with my standard ‘before-shot’ exampleHow you getting on with the Guzzi? The shop where I am having the MOT done have just started to sell Guzzis and were very interested in your bike and what you have done to it when I mentioned it to them
Oh and thanks for reviving the thread, I will have to fix the picture links nwo! good old Photobucket…b@st@rds!!
RadarModeratoryou run out of room in the garage?
No comment, but my daughter has bought a 125 and refuses to sell her beloved moped ‘Gino’!
RadarModeratorGood girl, I’ve not left my house since getting up, brrrrrr
Not ridden any of my bikes for a while either. although I did fire up the Thundercat for the first time this year today
February 11, 2018 at 7:51 pm in reply to: Meet the new Boss, Same as the Old Boss – New bike alert!! #69965RadarModeratorlooks bang tidy mate
It is a tidy one, but would sure stand some polishing. I have ridden it a couple of times so far. The brakes are a bit ‘draggy’ to say the least and the bike is hesitant below 5k rpm. Not sure if it is the cold, if it has a dodgy coil or perhaps a fueling issue. But happy so far for what I paid
RadarModeratorOld post, but an interesting review and I still want a R1!
January 23, 2018 at 9:41 pm in reply to: Yamaha MT-07 Review and Pics. Test Ride a Yamaha…buy a Harley! #67548RadarModeratorThe MT range has continued to expand and is selling well now in all formats. I hope to try the Tracer variant of the MT07 in the next few weeks, once the weather picks up a bit
RadarModeratorAlso means you can use it as a spares bike should anything fail on the customised version!
I already have a load of spares from the build, so it does make a lot of sense!
RadarModeratorAwesome stuff
I hope so. I feel perhaps that I should of gone for something different, but the low miles really drew me in
RadarModeratorooo what you get?
I got another ZR550, only 4,000 miles on the clock. I now have a before and after shot 550s! Should be collecting next Saturday
RadarModeratorGot one!!!
