Looks like decent weather too.
You were definitely there at the right time. For those who didn’t know, it’s the 70th anniversary tomorrow of the D-Day landings. There really are not many veterans around now, those who are left are in their eighties or higher, many unable to attend the ceremonies.
Yay! How is the back holding out then? Must be a lot better than 6 months ago?
On the contrary, dads bike is beyond repair. The mould brackets on the frame holding dog bone have broken, it’s a right off, un repairable. He could replace the frame but cost is too much so parts are being sold off it.
Not repairable by welding or bonding with adhesive?
Oh yes, that’s a classic! So what car do you reckon it’s modelled on? With that chrome side trim and lush, flowing lines to the minimalist round headlight I’m thinking perhaps an old Cadillac (obviously with a bit of artistic licence).
