Depending on the type it might help the engine breathe a little more freely, a it might give a little benefit top end.

They can sound a little flat standard too, so a litle bark to the exhaust will fun and make it seem quicker if nothing else.

As you bought the bike new be careful it doesn’t affect your warranty

Some exhausts may require carburation mods so it’s worth checking first.

the one I have seen is actually from the manufacture of the bike but I know what you mean.
And do you mean like a bigger jet nozzle that kind of thing.
