I don’t understand why these electric bikes need to look so crap.

I saw an article in this months bike magazine about the ttx. The TT but with electric bikes. They were all pretty much using ‘normal’ conventional looking bikes. Sod this ‘futuristic’ crap.

I am not getting on a bike which resembles a mobility scooter.

We have a few paint job ideas, the fairings don’t weight anymore than we can lose off our own bellys. Less pies will make us faster!

It would be great if peeps can come down for the weekend, the evening entertainment is… entertaining, to say the least! haha. We are hopefully going down on Friday. Need to remember the rain coats though! :)

    Here’s the info.

Applications for next year are accepted at the start of November, this years grid was full by mid-december 2008. I will keep an eye on the BMF website for more details.

Here’s a bit a light reading during the interim.

We were advised to bore out the manifold, but we got this because we didn’t trust ourselves!

might try putting the old manifold back on and seeing if that sorts the problem out.

So… we may have solved one issue and made ten more!

Changed the rollers, which made the scooter pickup quicker. But we also made a couple more changes (typical blokes!).
Removed the standard air filter and fitted a short bolt-on race filter, changed the stock exhaust to a ‘hand made’ leo vince, and increased the carb/engine manifold to a larger diameter.
Now there is so much power low in the range, but as the throttle reaches half way the engine stalls until the revs drop, then it picks back up again.
I am probably guessing we have completely screwed up the air/fuel mixture, but what do we do? The bike (sorry scooter) still has the stock carb, so stock jets etc. Do I need to change the carb? sports or maybe 70cc, or can I just change the jets???

It took me a few minutes to work out what the picture was. HAHA! long day! Never scrolled across far enough to see the bike as the picture never shrunk to the screen size.

    Shoot me now! Please!

Schui isn’t the stig, I do believe however that he had a lot to do with the designing and testing of the FXX (FFX?), I bet Ferrari told the BBC that schui was the only man allowed to drive it.

On the current F1 performance, Ferrari need something to top a table.

A high side! How did that happen, surely the back must of stepped out to perform such a stunt.

I also can’t believe the lady failed because she was 1km under the limit. 1km isn’t anything.

    Such a load of crap.

I am glad I passed my test when I did!
