TPFT or Comprehensive.

I didn’t realise till today that a lot of riders have TPFT instead of comprehensive insurance, even with a newish bike, due it being expensive. So what insurance would you choose, TPFT or comprehensive?

If you can afford it go fully comp!

Just look at the cost of a new fairing and imagine having to swallow the cost of it in the event of an accident!

I will always have FC on a newish bike faired or not. Oh, most finance companies insist on it to.

As I only started back riding last year and not having the benefit of NCD, I couldnt afford FC, so its TPFT for me till I can get enough NCD to get the price affordable.

Fully comp on all three.

However in earlier years I used to insure TPF&T

third party only, it costs 6 quid for a pot of matt black, and i could replace the bike for less than one years fully comp premium…
