I shoved in a K&N filter and always run on super unleaded. did nothing with the fuelling. It performs fine (in fact possibly better) at low revs but def feels like I have lost a bit of top-end. The ECU seems to have adjusted a bit to it too with some miles on it.

Cheers mate
P&D Custom Bikes did the seat for me (they outsourced the embroidery though)

March 29, 2017 at 8:16 pm #69408HippoDronesParticipantI knocked up a couple of brackets and mounted the top half:
I went simple for the lower part and used industrial strength velcro to mount that part:
So that is the bike almost finished. I still need to sort the rear light, which is hopefully arriving around Friday. I also need to get it painted, going over to visit the chap I want to do that tomorrow. Nearly bloomin there guys!

Bugger what have you done? You ok?
March 31, 2017 at 3:14 pm #69412HippoDronesParticipantMarch 31, 2017 at 3:23 pm #69413HippoDronesParticipantThe exhaust has melted the numberplate, not a biggie, have sorted that now:
But the main issue is this:
I thought I’d attached it securely but it in reality was only held in place with friction as the velcro wasn’t attached to anything, utterly my fault and have kicked myself as it will cost at least £150 to redo. I am weighing up my alternatives and possibly going to chat with an artist mate to see if he can do something unique for me to replace it with, it won’t be cheaper but could be far better as it would then be a true one off bit of artwork.
I have sorted today the rear light and repositioned the numberplate bracket so hopefully the hot exhaust gasses will not be so directly hitting it:
