Thinking about getting set for the Blade. I’ve found them online for £99 a pair here:

Seems a good price. So they have Kevlar inside, not steel then?

I thought I had been done! That explains it. Only a couple of hundred miles so far, but they feel great up to now!

found a cheap place for them online. Pretty sure these are the right tyres and they cheap too:

make sure you go for these rather than the touring version if you wanting the tyre I have fitted

Listening to several recommendations I had a pair of the latter kevlar belted ones fitted yesterday at Bikers World Drakes Broughton twixt Worcester and Pershore. Price £155 for the pair including fitting on either loose wheels or if dropping in with a bike. The last Bridgestone BT015 190/50 17 rear I had fitted cost me the same figure of £155, so if the performance and life expectance is to be believed I’ve got the front, which is now on the GSX-R600, for nowt.

Cracking price TT. A lad at work is just about to get a pair fitted to his 1200 Bandit. Seems the word is spreading fast. Several members of the Thundercat forum have gone for them too

Well after about 3000 miles the rear is shot, but I was daft to run it under pressure for a while which has shortened its’ life somewhat. Front still going strong
