I’m just kinda gettin into the bike scene, and I’m a bit green when it comes to bike meets etc. Wots Bassetts Pole? (anyone laffing, jus remember we all have to start somewhere…. te he!)

Check out the reports posted under the TBF Cafe and Promote your meeting. There are pictures on the 10/05/05 and 17/10/o5 meeting reviews, these include pictures of some forum members!
Basically it is a big informal bike meet at a pub and McDonalds at the junction of 2 big roads (A453 & A38) just outside Brum.
These kind of meets take place all over the country on various evenings.
I notice that this weeks MCN has a guide. Could be worth getting.
I hope to be at Bassetts Pole next Tuesday (7th) weather permitting.
