Tell us more about the variety that is your fleet. As far as the bigger stuff goes were they bought because they were appealing to you and used them as workhorses and each one has a story to tell?, and subsequently you find you CANNOT let them go? You said your not allowed any more, I think if I’d asked up front “Can I have” I probably wouldn’t have been allowed ANY…………So I’ve never asked, I’ve just gone and got. Welcome to the forum.

Radar asked permission to take the bike out for a spin but forgot Mrs Radars golden rule “YOU DONT ASK TWICE” and subsequently paid the price!

Another year passes and Radars good experiences are shared out for all to see. Lets look forward to sharing fresh ones on the forum in 2008. Just hope that Spring is early this coming year as I`m looking forward to meeting more of you fellow members real soon.

If anyone has seen the film Wrong Turn 2, you will know why Radar failed the screen test for the actor in the opening sequence.

These kind of laws really amaze me, you get caught for committing the offence and “the book is thrown at you” and you have neither hurt yourself or anyone else, where as if you do the same AND injure or KILL someone you would no doubt get a much lesser penalty! Throw in the FACT that when a PERSONALITY does the same THEY dont go to jail and the fine to income ratio does not come to play. The only exception that I know of was Lee Hughes the footballer who ended up in jail. I KNOW OF NO OTHER. As far as personalities go even bad news is good publicity, is it not.

That last shot does it for me, not exactly “man and machine as one”, but working extremely well together, “WHAT A THRILL, WHAT A RIDE!”

Bet the owner had a meccano set when he/she was a kid, then lost the plans. Many of the parts are used but not necessarily for that build of model.

Seems to me that most will return a nod, but a bit of gut instinct does come into play, if I dont nod then say 95% dont But someone has to nod 1st so maybe most are only returning mine! If small capacity bikes or scooters have a properly kitted out rider I will give them one to say “Welcome to the club, size don’t matter”. Don’t know if I’m on my own here but I give Police motorcyclists a nod, say half to two thirds DO nod back

Must say that it does look like a Tron Light cycle, as did the Jap electric bike, but there again the front shots look like a modern version of the Gilera 500 Grand Prix bike from the mid 50’s ……

Well not actually, it was three numbers on the speedo, the middle number was a 7. To use an often used saying “What a ride!” [:0]
