I remember seeing Cafe Racer Triumphs back in the early seventies with the heads reversed and twin forward facing amals.

TT07ParticipantI have told them what I think of the idea!
TT07Participant[:0]I’m lost for words![:0] But there again, thinking back to problems I’ve had with bikes in the past, if they become persistent and you start chasing your own tail best call it a day, ensuring of course that the replacement is in fine fettle!
TT07ParticipantDoubt that I can make it Radar, its also Heritage Sunday so I’ve have my Bewdley Town Council hat and cloak on!
TT07ParticipantThis is what our local rag has to say about the event:-
CLEOBURY Mortimer will echo to the sound of classic motorbikes over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, September 12 and 13.
The annual Borders Classic Bike Show, at the Lacon Childe School, will raise funds for the school and local charities.
This year, a cheque for £500 will be presented to the Kidderminster Prostate Cancer Support Group.
Entries come from as far as Wiltshire and range from a rare 1913 Lancashire-built Bradbury to a 2002 350cc Yamaha TZ350 racer.
Enthusiast, Dave Clark, will have a restored 650cc BSA Golden Flash, while Steve Todd will have his 350cc Royal Enfield “Currysader”, which blends an old British-built bike with a more modern Indian-made engine.
Guest of honour is retired racer, Bob Heath, who was a champion classic racer until he opted to drive steam trains as a volunteer on the Severn Valley Railway.
The show is open from 10am to 5pm on both days. There will be a bike jumble on the Sunday, when awards for the concours competition will be presented.
TT07ParticipantAnd one of me taken 3 years back.
TT07ParticipantNow that really is good news! Best of luck from me on this occasion too.
TT07ParticipantWas that a bit of Bikers Revenge?
TT07ParticipantAfraid not I dont get that day off.
TT07ParticipantYes a good run out for everyone I believe, Jason on the Honda Super Four said upon reaching Crossgates… “I’ll have to get a bigger bike if this is the kind of distance you lot do, and you call this a short run” (He only passed his test in June and is currently still feeling his feet somewhat) I believe steady but sure will win the day for him, after a few Sundays out with us lot he will be picking up some usefull riding tips that he wont get by riding alone and not venturing far from our town. I only took a few snaps………..
Ready for the off “Wish he’d hurry up with that camera then we can get on the road”
Last stop at Craven Arms. At this point we split into 2 groups, those heading home and those looking for one more stop at Quatford Cafe. “Wish he’d hurry up with that Camera then we can get home”It was good to meet up with Andy, Terry and Alan; as Radar said the five of us worked for the same cable manufacturing firm 10 years ago, we really should try to meet up more often. Also good to meet up with ses310 and Champs, not forgetting of course Dave and Harry both of whom I’d not met before. Radar PUSH us ALL to meet up again real SOON!
TT07ParticipantI saw that article too and thought its a good alternative use for biking gear.
