It was their factory that 617 attacked
Bloch 152 fighter that used engines produced at Limoges
Messerschmitt Me232, a huge German transport aircraft that also used engines built there…nicknamed Gigant – or Giant

RadarModeratorThat’s full scale for you Radar! I looked at this when first on TV and its around £700 to buy the mags I think?
It would be nice to have a bike where i could get my feet flat on the deck! These models built over a number of issues do cost a fortune, how many people actually finish them?

It detailed some of the 100 raids they did after the famous dams mission of May 1943. One of them was to a massive aero engine factory in Limoges…you learn something everyday….
RadarModeratorI rode the Thundercat back from the dealer’s for Geeg just over a week ago…he hadn#’t ridden for 21 years, the bike is on new tyres and the roads were very slippy.
Happy to report that she rides really well, the suspension is so much better than that on mine! The mileage is about half of what is on my example, and you can really tell.
43 steady miles, nice machine.
One Thundercat safely delivered!Geeg has since been out and covered over 100 highly enjoyable miles on his first stint!
To quote the man himself:
THUNDERCAT IS GO
Today was my first outing on the “cat” I couldn’t have picked a better day. After not owning a bike for 21 years I sat astride her nervously. I need not have worried she performed & handled beautifully. I only intended to have a quick blast but as you can see from the miles covered I’m well & truly hooked again I’m still buzzing
RadarModeratorHappy with the Duke that I bought to replace the Fazer, but I still like the look of an R1 and the 2015 model is stunning….
RadarModeratorThe Kwack was worth the admission price on its own….
It was fantastic.
RadarModeratorGreat pictures and that Kwack was straining on the leash like an attack dog that hadn’t been fed for a week…awesome
RadarModeratorSurely it’s N+4 in your case?
So is this the equation for your partner:
N-N?
Both good points there ID
RadarModeratorWay too long since I been Karting. Have been a couple times since this outing in 2007, but would love another blast soon
RadarModeratorLets hope we never have to do this sort of thing ever again
Definitely, much respect due to the Allied forces. I’m sure they’d be glad to know you were enjoying a relaxed drink there now.
I suppose they would, good to see a place at peace now

To say the least!
RadarModeratorHesketh have just produced their last V1000 after 32 years of slow, mostly hand built production. Going on to make an entirely new, but still V twin, bike.
From the Hesketh Facebook page:
After 32 years of continuous low volume production, this is the very last new V1000 to be produced by Hesketh Motorcycles.
Just a few more detail parts and testing before the hand over to its owner.
At this time we need to congratulate Lord Hesketh, Bubbles Horsley, Mick Broom and the original team for their continuous commitment in keeping the Hesketh name alive. Now on to the future with our all new 24 production and many more years of future madness.https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hesketh-Motorcycles/266970416730900
