Worth bumping this excellent picture up the scale a bit.
Donate – Or Imperial Data will have you sorted!Well the XV has been given an “interesting” look! The US Custom tag was applied to a number of Yamaha offerings in the late 70’s and early 80’s. XS250, XS650 and the AS750 triple all recieved the treatment. Kawasaki did the LTD range, Suzuki the L range and Hona were just called Customs, I did loads of miles on a CX500 Custom in 1985 whilst I was a DR.
Ads for returning the CB250RS to factory spec all would need is a standard exhaust. However to return it to concours conditions would require a significant investment anf the bike, whilst fun, simply is not worth enough, even when restored to make it even remotely viable. Shame really. She goes well just as she is!

Donate – Or Imperial Data will have you sorted!It was an air cooled V twin if memory serves. There was also a 1000cc version called the TR1. Niether sold well, although the XV750SE was a nicely balanced machine for a custom. The TR1 was a total flop and the last of the UK bikes were sold off in Greece apparently.
