Cool, my sister had an SV650 and kept falling off it. lost all her confidence and sold the bike. Did it cost a lot or was it a freeby by doin it yourself?
Tis good news this. I just wish that the peeps who screwed up MG had taken lessons from the Triumph management. I may have then still had a warenty and dealership support for my other missile.
If nothing else works, put a nut on the stud and drill a small hole through both stud and nut. then stick a metal dowel thro it. should be able to turn nut without it leaving the stud

Ta. Before I’d seen the new speed triple I tried out the Z1000 and thought it was great but after taking a test ride on the Triumph I had to get it. So much more character, go, and I think much more flickable. It is hard to imagine it has more than 1000cc with the way it rides, till you twist the loud switch that is!
