Hey Cookeye, get Radar to tell you about, if memory serves me right, the burn on his leg (GS550)and the lower glass in the rear door of his batch pad on Lime Tree avenue (GS550)
I borrowed the bike for a while and had a great time frightening Richard Anderson who had a FZ1000.
In retrospect slow and heavy, but when its this or no bike at all I’ll take the GS (they were also made like brick s*** houses)

    Nope,
My talents wouldn’t benefit from their stuff.
I think I’m more of a ‘CZ’ DIYer (rather than a MV one)

Baghdad Bob (Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, Iraqi Minister of Information)
There is no chicken, there is no road, this is just imperialist dogma. See for yourself, look…….. [:D]

    Thanks guys
Well in the fullness of time some of my more memorable stories will be extracted via Radar or my willingness to seek forgiveness.

Perhaps the chapters could be set out as follows:
    (sub headings are a clue)
Yellow & Black FS1E (salisbury plain, Slough & surgical implants)
RS100 (M4 and the nervous clutch grip)
Royal Enfield Bullit 500 (starting and stopping)
860 GTS (M3 and Princess Di – god rest her soul)
Jota (moonlight nights, M3 again…. county borders and blue lights)
FT500 (thats a story in its own right!)
CBX550 (Black clouds & garden fences)
    Morini 350 (bits&bobs)
    FT500 (yes another one – RD350LC – eh Radar?)
CBR600 (Italy- if you haven’t been you have GOT to!!)
    Transalp (The Alps!!!)
    Fireblade (Police down under)
and who can forget the Honda Vision……. read the scooters section for an insight.

    Perhaps, I should leave now

    Ah motorbikes, I remember them………
On a summer evening I can hear them from miles around mainly twins & fours.
A triple though, well that’s the best but I’m biased as an ex-Jota owner.
Radar, at least you’ve got a bike, I make do at present with a range of power tools, what a sad muppet. Still, next year…. (yeah right)
