I can’t make the UGP this year mate or the Mid Antrim for that matter
I’m off on holiday on the 6th for a fortnight. I’d highly recommend it mate !! Its faster that the NW200 and the roads are bumpy and jumpy, more like TT, mountain roads. Think its the fastest in Europe now (129mph lap by John McGuinness I think). Don’t expect the same as the NW200 tho as far as nightlife and entertainment goes. Its a more rural track with nowt but fields to watch from, but spectacular none the less. Best getting somewhere near Belfast for digs.“Its not about the horsepower, its about the balls!!”
Took me about 15 mins. Its all down to timing the lights at the start and hitting the back of the redline before hooking the next gear. I did blow a few motors and false starts tho. lol

Next time you do’em Gix, smear a little mastic/silicone on the bolts. Cheaper than thread lock and easy to remove again. It’ll stop’em falling out even if they’re not tight.

…….and De Puniet having an outstanding ride to win the 250’s, after leading for so long then running off and still producing the goods. I just watched Donnington on tape, that was appalling weather.

Ahhh… thats more like it. Its amazing how a hot bath, nicotine and coffee make you feel. I think its safe to say we both had one of those “moments” where you can smell the surgical spirit. lol Which reminds me….. I must stick me reg plate back on again. hehehe

Had an awesome day at the Kells roadraces today. Fantastic run there and back again of 250 hard miles round trip. Need a cup of coffee and a smoke now to bring me back down again, I’m still pumped up. lol Few scary moments along the way too (nearly hit the back of a mates R1 at about 170mph) hehe. He slowed off on a real fast part without sticking a hand up or anything, I was right up his exhaust at this point !! hehehe Don’t really know what I done to get round him ? but I did brush his left elbow on the way past. lol We’re still all here to talk about it which is the main thing ! hahaha Oh……. and about 20 mins later (Colin GSXR 1000) practicaly turned it over on one of the hills/jumps . Eeeeeeeeee it were and grand day !! lol

Remember to lube your chain from below the swingarm Poohchick or it flings it off without lubing it properly !
