A photo of what? I can’t take the bike apart to show you can I?

Can it be adjusted or not?

here, like this in this short flash animation I just made,

you need flash to view it

    surely that is possible?

Well I was thinking, could I adjust the gear lever’s position and angel?

Like at the moment it is pointing upwards towards the handle bars, could I rotate it so that it’s at the same degree that say a commuter would be? Same for the back-brake too?
I’m sure I read that these can be adjusted.

    here’s a crude diagram

    foot.jpg

with my foot in the position it is too far under the peg and my ankle rests on the peg at full tilt, so I can not tilt it back far enough to initiate the gear change, without lifting my entire leg off the peg and pulling it back towards my body.
Where as if I sit on the back seat there is no problem what so ever.

I’m sure if I changed the angel it was on so that it met my foot like a sports bike pedal, where the gear lever goes under the peg slightly, rather than way above it.

    I hope I’m being clear

so anyway, can anyone give me some info to read up on, about extending foot controls? or anything similar? I don’t want to have to perch myself on the back seat…

Yeah, but not to a 125 I’ll bet? I hope they can offer a non expensive solution…

that’s the problem, it was in an accident and is in a right old state, and I’ve still got 2 years to pay off on the finance and a bike that is horrible and broken :(

I got hit by a Mini-bus driver you see, and he pretty much wrote the bike off…

I already had a test 2 weeks ago and failed, I was adviced to just ride around for a bit longer on my 125… but as it is now its un rideable for me… plus there’s a whole mess with finance and shit that dosent really give the option of getting a new bike… it’s this one or non at all.

What would the difference make? I would still be too tall to operate them correctly because of the way my feet are positioned I cannot shift up or down without moving my entire leg off the bike and literally lunging myself backwards to shift up the gears.

    I’m a good old fashioned 6’3 lol

Sitting on the bike normally results in me being very cramped, which is why if the foot pegs were brought forward it would be a lot better for me you see.

I love the bike, and when it gets fixed I would love to be able to ride it in comfort.

    and thank ye :D
