Looked pretty good. I was surprised at how slim and light it felt (more like a 250 then a 700) when I had a quick sit on it.

The placing of the ignition switch in front of the clocks was a bit strange.

Managed a couple of hours in the garage today.

So fitted the new seat unit.

Fitting was pretty easy and I only had to modify 1 part

Should get the front fairing fitted in the next week or so.

That MG Montego must be a good one – less faults then normal.

What message does it give when the dash begins to smoke and then catch fire? This happen to an old work mate of mine in the firms carpark, all caught on CCTV.

    Welcome Mark.

It might be worth  giving here a ring. I was there a couple of weeks ago looking for car bits but the stock of bikes they were breaking was very impressive.

Might have a spare universal flasher unit in the garage if you need one?

    Welcome Steve.

You need at least two bikes, otherwise they get lonely.

Haven’t had a chance to fit them yet. Had to have the gearbox out of the car to change the slave cylinder.

    AT LAST!!

A big box arrived on Wednesday

Everything was super well packed and arrived undamaged

I’m very happy with the paint quality. Not a perfect match to the originals (red is a little brighter) but very close

They even sent me a dark screen,a tank protector and included some heat shielding that I wasn’t expecting

Just hope they fit as good as they look.
