GSX.. when I was younger (my CB250RS days), my old man had a biscuit tin filled with boiling grease, so once every two months I’d remove my chain, degrease it in petrol and boil the grease on the stove and immerse the chain.. hang the chain so the excess drips off, let it cool and dry and put back on the bike.. didnt need to do anything else for two months.

Of all the embarrasing things to get hit by… back in 88, I was taken off the road by a brand new sky blue E reg Skoda! I’d only just started doing my part 1 training the weekend before!

I’d keep my GSF600N.. its great fun. For distance touring with some perforance, a ZZR600, for pure adrenalin rush an R1, and to annoy my dad an old Norton!

I had my Ford Sierra 1.8L stolen back in 1993.. poor bugger must have really been desperate to have stolen that pile of crap!!!! I’d have given him real sympathy, but touch the Banditto, and he’ll feel the full force of my 0.22 caliber air rifle where the sun will never reach!
