Two good weekends: we were truly blessed…..
Now watching the rain lashing down outside, trawling eBay to find parts to supermoto the TDM so I can get up our steep slippery drive when it’s wet….
Thumper, how about visiting your cousin Theresa in Brittany then? Before Craig sells his Harley… We’re certainly up for it.
Are your girls going away at all this summer? If so, that’s when we can go….
Lovely run – Debs was buzzing when we got back: enjoyed her 270 mile re-introduction to the joys of pillion riding. Her last outing was when I took her out on my Z650, 25 years ago (when we were just friends…).
Now I need to take her to Bikers Paradise to get her kitted out with proper boots (her furry ones aren’t waterproof), kevlar jeans and a warm jacket. The American football quarter-back wants his jacket back….Our route back after we split with Radar & Thumper bisected Wenlock Edge and Long Myndd – beautiful. We were in the groove, so ignored the call of Ludlow Castle cafe coffee and got back to the Forest in good time. A great day.
Last bike before the kids was an SP370 – felt like flying ‘cos it was so small: good fun on Forest B roads…. A SM would be perfect for winter hacking. I wonder if Debs’ll notice…..
Funny, that: I’ve just been choosing my second bike (for when it’s too slippery to get the TDM up our drive), and a 400cc Jap single came top of the list…. albeit a SM

They only do motorcycle clothing, but tailor their range for you: useful for those of us with unfeasibly short legs. Great reviews: tempted to pootle over next dry weekend to check out some jeans…
