Spotted one of these in the bike park at work today

    From their website:

Legal – Only 14 years old and above to ride our scooters on the road.

    No licence required.

No DVLA registration needed due to our scooters being classed  as an electric bicycle. https://www.gov.uk/electric-bike-rules.

    No tax or M.O.T needed.

No insurance needed by law (advisable).

Fuel – Approximately 8 pence for one full charge. 6-8 hours charging time.

Distance – With our 48v12ah battery, the bike does upto 30 miles depending on terrain and weight of rider. £1 will approximately take you 375 miles!

I truly hope this isn’t the future of biking!
