Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, VODKA in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming…….WOO HOO, WHAT A RIDE!!

Here’s a review I found on the net – Excellent all rounder. Can scratch with the best for longer, as your arms and butt don’t ache after 100 miles.
Did France, Spain and Morocco, including off road through Western Sahara dropping 2 BMW GS’s behind in the process. Bike was reliable for entire 5.5k trip and endured British weather of howling rain and wind from Pembrokeshire to Plymouth and all the way to Bordeaux and up to 41 degrees C in desert without a single complaint. Now has 34K on the clock and still runs like a dream. Survived head on with 4X4 in Spain better than rider and got me home safely after that. I have been biking for 23 years and have not come across a better all rounder inculding the Fazer (which nicked the cats engine). Later R6 not so practical or comfortable and no faster in road terms I think. Scratching, commuting, touring even a little 20 mile treck through the desert it handled it all. It is the most underrated bike ever and just gets on with the business of delivering high quality biking experiences for mile after mile. New R6, CBR’s, ZXR and GSXR’s may appease your vanity a bit more but I bet the Cat would beat them all on a long run as you wouldn’t need to stop so much to refuel and rest aching body parts as footrest are only slightly rearset and handlebars not too low plus screen gives excellent wind protection. Pillions will like it too as it has good grab rails and comfy seat.

Found this review, and I have to say I agree with it. Cracking bike.
