Well me, Poohchick and Max decided on a bit of a ride out on Sunday, Pooh had come down to visit me in the car on Saturday so she left on sunday morning heading up the motorway in the car to meet me up there, and I hit the back roads for the rendezvous.
We had arranged to meet Max on Woodhead Pass at a pub as you come down off the tops. The meeting time was 12.30pm, I made it around that time and we sat drinking very expensive cup of coffee and awaited PC’s arrival…..and we waited…..and we waited…..
Once PC had “found” the meeting place, we headed back up Woodhead and then onto Snake Pass. The surface seems to deteriorate very quickly now, in need of some serious resurfacing work but we had a good ride up despite the surface and the traffic to Derwent Valley and a nice little cafe set away from civilisation, at a place called Fairholmes. Its a lovely spot to just chill and the scenery is nice, with a lake and lots of greenery as a backdrop. Very nice. After refreshments and a “chill”, we dicided to go seperate ways and head off home, time was getting on. A very enjoyable, relaxed day. Spot on!The rendezvous

Yep, thats pretty much it, me and max on big bikes, PC was on 650, I dropped back a couple of times to wait for PC, I dont like to think that she would push herself or her bike too much for her to feel underpressure and take a spill.
And remember, all the cars which “slowed max down”….me and PC also had to negotiate them, yet still caught up….There was excellent riding all around not just from Maxium and the death-brinnger!
