Yes I agree, and maybe he only slowed under the set of bridges knowing its a speed check spot (there was a roadside warning sign just a short distance up the road).
TT07ParticipantRIP Dennis Hopper. Watching the film Easy Rider back in the early seventies was one of those personality moulding moments, yes it may have its drug induced scenes, but for me, it was the grand sense of being a free roaming spirit that attracted me. Watching the film again recently, it does seem a little strange to say the least.
TT07ParticipantI wondered just the same Radar, after the initial blast there were oppurtunities to pull him over as he did slow to the limit and the following rider had the chance to get past and pull him over, surely if the manner of riding caused a danger to the public this would have been done. The maximum recorded speed took place after the oppurtunity mentioned. The strange thing is it appears that a blue light is flashing and can be seen reflecting in the number plate, and if so the guy has chosen to run the gauntlet.

Yep, sure is and greater speeds are even quicker. TT fortnight is nearly here and over on the island 140 would be called moderate on non race days. Oh if only I were going ……..
TT07ParticipantFor Christ’s sake Max that could have been so nasty, but fancy it happening going past a tanker! That get out of jail free reserve tap position saved you the push though, it would have tested your last “war wound”.
TT07ParticipantGlad you had a good weekend Radar. I had a run out on Sunday to Aberystwyth via Bridgnoth, Craven Arms, Newtown, Llandiloes and returned via Devils Bridge, Elan Valley, Crossgates, Knighton and Ludlow. Total 266miles. Must say the heat was much less oppressive out near the coast and at the higher levels on the way out. Cracking ride, roll on the next one!
TT07ParticipantHi and welcome John.
TT07ParticipantI watched the race live via the BBC red button, shock horror, realised tonight that the internet link surpasses it by 1000’s of percents. ie: the Live coverage was many times worse than what would be expected from what has been broadcast over the last few years, where as the internet based content is ………well just watch and see whilst the BBC iPlayer is still available!!![][][]

Well Radar, looks like your secret is out!
TT07ParticipantHave got used to the change now, and yes, prefer it to the ‘randomness’ of the previous one.
TT07ParticipantNot found one for me, I see someone else has one though……
