I used to muck around with stuff like this as a teenager. My one clamped onto a push bike and drove by a roller on the back tyre.

WD40 is great for freeing things off, but it isn’t a very good lasting lubricant. I got an aerosol of spray grease for that sort of thing – stands, car door hinges etc.. It goes on thin and runny, then sets into a grease. Got mine from Halfords.
It’s Audis now. Audi drivers have taken over from BMW drivers for tailgating and not indicatiing. The theory is that BMW drivers these days are more like proper drivers.
Interesting – assisting those that can’t park.
I would rather assist them drive properly first. Motorcycle proximity warning buzzers would be high on my list. I would be prepared to fit a sender.
Or a boxing glove to the face if touching a cell phone

The seller said all the updates have been done except this last one, which is apparently liable to a tank leak if a hose is removed and forced back on incorrectly. I’ll wait until a dealer service I think, as the BM dealers are all a long way from Swindon. Perhaps I’ll find a good independant.
Been out on it for a few hours today, it’s real nice to ride. Linked brakes and rapid shift make it almost too easy. Then had to wash it of course.
