I can see it now! Looks fantastic. If I remember correctly you brought it to the 550 'Speed Build' in 2017. I switched to Flikr for pictures too, but have filled my free space already!
RadarModeratorI was really impressed with the styling and finish of these when I saw them at the NEC, great value. I know they are very different bikes but if looking for something at this price point it would be interesting to try this against the Royal Enfield Interceptor.
Midwest Moto have a demo bike, I am sure they would be happy to let you out on it. I am keem to try the new RE too, apparently selling really well
RadarModeratorI can't see it either
RadarModeratorCould this almost be the perfect bike to take over to watch the Manx Classic?
Obviously only beaten into second place by the Thruxton High Power version
It would be great for that and I really do fancy the idea of a return to the Island
RadarModeratorI have to say that bike looks lovely and suits you well, good luck with the 2016 model. Really look forward to seeing it!
Great review too and good to see you posting again after the photobucket fiasco!
RadarModeratorthe enduro is 3″ taller still!
I wouldn't have a snowflake's chance in hell with that one! Dirt and adventure bikes have gone crazy tall in recent years and just can't get near some of them! The DT175MX, the first bike I ever rode was so low compared to what is about these days
RadarModeratorAye… the Fantic enduro is as tall as a house, think it is even taller than the KTMs! :o
The Caballero was a little on the high side for a stumpy like me too…
RadarModeratorwas interested in the 500 when shopping for the Beta, I think I made the right choice at the time, but by heck… the 500 is a lovely looking bike!
You certainly seem to be enjoying your Beta, there is a Fantic more in that style, but you're right the Caballero is a cracking looking bike
RadarModeratorI prefer the forum layout to FB too Ben

Keep 'em coming!
P.S. Where was the factory that built the Stags?
Cheers
The Triumph Stag was built in Coventry and the main Triumph plant there
RadarModeratorif people intervened when witnessing thefts then the little scrotes doing it would think twice about it. when my missis' dad had his bike nicked, he appealed for information, later found out who it was and safe to say it was dealt with and no one has bothered his bikes since. when word gets out it puts people off. especially if you're a member of an mcc.
when people around here see the leather waistcoat they cross over the roadOne brave soul around here stole a bike belonging to a club member….he might regret that decision in the long run…
RadarModeratorGood to hear from you again Ben! It has been a while! I always enjoyed reading about your many and varied projects! Great work getting a free engine

My Alfa is a bit older, a 1976 Spider.
